Been thinking about extraterrestrial life, lately. What kind of societies might develop? What kind of religions would they have? Would there be a bunch of false religions and one true one? Would they need redemption? Would their first two beings have been given free will? Would there have been a tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Would there have been a serpent? What if the first two beings didn't sin? Might their kids have sinned, or their kids, or their kids? Would they have had the same requirements we do -- 100% perfection? Would they have the same penalty for falling short? Would God have had a plan of redemption for them? Would it be the same plan he gave us, or something different? Would he have inspired a book to be written with all the details, clearly explained?
Do we humans have a bunch of false religions and one true one?

If there were an issue of sin/self-will and a "fall" like we have beginning with Eden, then there would probably be a number of people who tried to find their own ways, whether through religion or other means.
We don't have a requirement of 100% perfection. Grace took care of that.
I have no doubt that if there were another world, God is creative enough to make an entirely different kind of beings with entirely different decisions to face... and an entirely different means of salvation if such became necessary. Would He? Who knows? But the possibilities are limitless.

. . .
I think they'd do that, whether there was a literal fall in a garden, or not.

I dunno... but it reminds me of the episode of south park where the things (whatever they were) made statues of Cartman and Kyle and worshipped them and then their society kept evolving to the point where they were fighting each other and blew their aquarium up. lol

Haven't seen that one, but it sounds awesome!

Yes, we do.
