True Felicity, you are right in that regard.
There is however a "perceived" contempt for those who hold to Acts 2:38
Salvation, even so far as calling people legalist.

However I think the term has come to mean any who don't agree with thier form
of doctrine.

I agree!

Park me here. I do wish there was more real discussion and less name calling and mud slinging. I don't like picking thru all the sludge looking for those who are really putting themselves out there trying to answer a question or explain something more clearly.

Scotty, you are not being unseen here. You were right on target.

It becomes a little worse when name calling and sidestepping is involved. No longer can we have issues discussed here and that makes things stale and negative.

I won't have time to catch up totally due to work this afternoon, but wondered at the results of this important question.

Do we have an Apostolic, or Ex-Apostolic site here anymore?
?

Thank you also Sir Ferd and Ronb for your reply that some are interested in fair discussion of issues not the daily smack and run.

Renda, you know this was not point to you also.
This is a Oneness Apostolic forum far as I know. Is there a question about that really? Otherwise, I wouldn't be posting here.

The fact is though that the forum is both owned and administered by differing points of view of what "truth" is. So why would and how could Admin disallow discussion on doctrine seein's they themselves are also divided?

I agree about mud slinging and name calling being counter-productive. Not only is it counter-productive, it's also unholy.

Hey there Ron!

Contempt is exhibited on both sides of the fence -- and sometimes even demonstrated by those sitting ON the fence. LOL.

Truly, it does go both ways.

We have tried to be tolerant of both sides Felicity. One side has instead resorted to what is addressed in the above posting.

nahkoe, nothing wrong with open discussion of issues that strengthen our walk and beliefs. Sadly, some throwing mud can do much better at tolerance and discussion.

I am gonna be late for work. Buried today.....
