Seems to be a rush to dunks em like donuts before the coffee cools, or to “talk-in-tongues.” Yet, not MUCH emphasis on repentance.

Just an observation of 24 years in and around Pentecostal/apostolic churches.

Yeah...I was raised the same way...deliverance came when you spoke in tongues and shouted.


It was only later that I started learning about real deliverance.


Not saying that people are never delivered when they get the initial infilling...but Ive watched people speak in tongues and THEN start manifesting.


That stuff is good at blending in and hiding in plain sight in our churches...not Bro Benicasas church when hes guarding the door though. 🤣

Another two incidents:

A neighbor that I used to play with when I was a kid. As he grew he was very feminine, in his manners and voice. It was obvious the direction he was going. As far as I knew, he didn’t commit actual homosexual acts. Five years later, I came to visit my hometown. As I as walking down the street, I saw him, with a Bible under his arm. I was surprised. One of my neighbors practiced witchcraft. Her son was homosexual. Her grandchild from another son, began to be tormented by a spirit. She tried all the things and the tormenting continued. She finally came to me and asked me if I could pray for her grandchild to be delivered. I said yes, and went to my prayer place and casted out that devil in the name of Jesus from my own house. The very next day she came to me with a smile saying the spirit had left her grandchild. Impacted by the miracle, she, and her entire house, including the homosexual, converted. The homosexual broke with his partner. Five years later, when I visited my hometown, the homosexual was still homosexual. He confessed to my mom that he tried hard but he couldn’t leave it. The ex witch was still in church, with a few other relatives.

She repented. The prove is in the bearing of fruit. I saw no demon, but a crushed soul in the altar that day. I was there. I prayed for her at the altar.
