Alaben su nombre con danza;
Con pandero y arpa a él canten.
Salmos 149:3
The bible uses the word danza repeatedly throughout instead of baile. They are one and the same. So yes Danzo is a real spanish word.

Back in the nineteen fifties when I took Spanish is high school, we were told the word for "to dance" is "bailar." However, after seeing "danzar" used here I checked an old Spanish/English dictionary and bothe "bailar" and "danzar" are used fot "to dance."

Good for him. I didn't know your dad, so my statement still stands. I am sure you already know that Spanish can have variance in it depending on what part of the country you live in, right? One word can have different meanings in different areas and some words don't get used while others do.

I just found that out, Sam. I learned a new word, "danzar."
Some of you hardheaded people who are never wrong need to follow the example I have set for you concerning this alternate word for "dance."
