Re: Plane Crashes Into Building in Austin

My wife and son had driven right by that building a couple of hours before the crash.

BTW, I first got the news from my mom. I get all my big news from her. Blizzard in Dallas. 9/11. World Series quake of '89 (they live on the SF Peninsula, and she called to tell me they were OK. I didn't know about the quake, so I just said "Mmmkay. Glad to hear it!" ).

Re: Plane Crashes Into Building in Austin

I read a post on Facebook that the pilot started his house on fire and then took the plane and flew it into the office building.

I haven't seen a source, so I'm not sure if this is true or not.

They're talking about that on CNN right now. Doesn't sound very "confirmed" yet, though. "It appears that...." kind of thing.

Re: Plane Crashes Into Building in Austin

I read that the police are now saying that it does not appear to be terrorist or criminally related.

I guess it is really just too early to tell.

Good grief, I'm disgruntled with the IRS ... but I won't be flying a plane into anything, nor driving a car into something or any other violent act.

Sad for the two from the office they're saying they can't find.

This IRS has offices in that building. I wondered if he was upset with them.

Ah, yes, that's what they are saying the motive was.
