Sis. Alvear
Sis. Alvear-
You have much to answer for on the Day of Judgement.
* as a child, you were called of God to minister to the people of Brazil
* at the age of 18, you obeyed that call.
* Standing resolutely with your husband, Bishop Raul Alvear, you have led multitudes to Christ, adopting several children who have joined your soul winner endeavors
* Your efforts have produced church buildings, schools, dormitories, a Brazilian website that reaches people around the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
* Preaching missions to Brazil and through out the US has blessed and inspired untold thousands
* Audio and Video tapes telling of your work, presenting the message of Jesus Chrit, encircle the globe, spreading the Glorious light of Truth to those who sit in darkness
* Of your work and ministry it has been said: “Bishop Raul Alvear and Missionary Janice Alvear have raised up multitudes of workers for the Lord in Brazil.”
* You have cared for the orphaned, fed the hungry, clothed the naked. You’ve distributed Bibles and Gospel literature. You’ve prayed for the sick, comforted those that mourn. You family has trained native preachers, and workers. And your family has birthed countless souls into the Kingdom of God. Youand Bishop Alvera have seen more baptized in Jesus Name, more recieve the Holy Ghost, and more healed and delivered through God’s Power than you can count, I’m sure.
*You and your husband have walked through the jungles to present the Gospel, have endured unbearable heat, drenching rains, labored through incredible hardship to reach the people you love so well with the Gospel. Churches stand throughout Brazil as a testament to your faithful service to the Lord Jesus Christ.
* People around the world respect and honor your work for God. Your children follow in your footsteps to proclaim salvation and deliverance to a lost and dying world.
*You’ve stood firm for Holiness and Pentecostal traditions, even in the face of adversity both here at home and abroad.
You’ve remained humble even though you’ve been persecuted and ridiculed for your dedication to the cause of Christ.
When I can say I have done half as much for the Kingdom of God, then I might be able to criticize. Until then, I can only say the life you have lived, the sacrifices you have made, the dedication you have shown, the tears you have shed, the prayers you have prayed, stand as an example for us to follow.
I stand in awe as I see all you and your family have accomplished for, and through, the cause of Christ.
I bow humbly before Gods throne to pray that you will continue to see the fruits of your service to the Lord.
