IS the internet "Slow" for anyone else today?

There is a long delay when sending email today in web-based email as hotmail. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am off work today and am normally not here at this time or sending personal email.

I thought it was my computer or something, as I tried to send an email w/attachment and it wouldn't go...the message read, "Try again later..."

Are you both using the same email server? I haven't had any problems.

Thank you for posting so now I know...

I should have asked, "IS HOTMAIL SLOW TODAY?"....My ISP is not "slow" today.

Were you referring to HOTMAIL service, Barb?

Anyone used HOTMAIL today and had problems?????????

It takes 30 minutes or longer for an email to go through.

I do not use hotmail but I use yahoo and it was slow earlier... havent tried recently.

Funny... at work today I was helping some guys clean up a major spamming mess that was clogging up the pipes. There is a commercial email service (sorry, no names!) with servers based in the Atlanta area that were being abused by one of their business clients. We had to finally isolate the network just to avoid being on any Black Hole or Honey Pot lists.

Try taking your "laptop computer" and turning it so the "screen" faces down. Then gently shake the "laptop" or "tablet PC" in a circular motion.

When you turn it back up to face you, the "screen" should be all gray again. Just begin to turn the two big white knobs around and things should be back to "normal."

(Of course, this insult wouldn't really apply to what I know about you RandyWayne... just funnin')
