There is often a problem between personal liberty and government control.

In the state of Ohio we had a law enacted that required motorcyclists to wear helmets. Enough people signed a petition and the law was repealed. It is no longer a law that motorcyclists wear helmets in Ohio.

The government acts in the best interests of free citizens every day. We elect our officials to protect us.

I see this no differently than subdivision covenants and city ordinances which regulate everything from how many trees you can have in your yard to how many occupants can live in a home.

Thsi particular government feels fast food is a bane to our existence. Do you disagree?
