It's Friday!!!!!!
How's everyone's day going?
FINALLY, we have sunshine here and it's beautiful!
We're going out to The Cupboard for lunch - - down South homecooking.
The famous Memphis in May BBQ is this weekend downtown!

It's 83 right now!
It's been an exceptionally wet and cool spring - this is more like our weather today!

I'm done in a little over an hour myself, then after an hour drive home, get to decide where to eat lunch.
Famous Daves? Olive Garden? My Big Fat Greek Restaurant? Too many choices!

Re: It's Friday!!!!!!
It rained here till a little after 11am.... so my plans of painting today were ruined since I couldn't open windows and let the paint fumes out. Since it's finally cleared off, I'm getting out in just a few minutes to pick up my mom and we're going to a couple of thrift stores to see what we can find.

Re: It's Friday!!!!!!
It's a beautiful day here in sunny Alexandria, La. I just had a nice catfish dinner and am waiting for the work day to end. But alas thunderstorms are predicted for the weekend.

Re: It's Friday!!!!!!
We have received about 20" of rain in the last 2 weeks. It has been crazy.
I was going to town a little earlier and was amazed to see, for the first time in 2 weeks, the roads were all dry.
This weekend I have to tear a hole in the wall of our bedroom. We converted a garage into a bedroom and currently have no windows. We REALLY need an A/C in there... So... that is the project for this weekend.
I may install another window some other time for light but my wife isn't a big fan of light so we may leave it windowless. Who knows.

couldn't handle that..we have 7 sets of 6 foot sliding glass patio doors in our house. Even in our bedrooms.
On a windy day you can get your hair messed up by the breeze in the house
