Her Highness Barbara Boxer

The feisty California lawmaker felt the need to remind an Army brigadier general of that fact Tuesday during a hearing before her Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, where the military officer testifying had the apparent gall to call Boxer "ma'am.

"You know, do me a favor," an irritated Boxer said. "Could say 'senator' instead of 'ma'am?'"

However, Walsh surely meant no disrespect, as military protocol advises that officers may use "sir" or "ma'am" when addressing anybody higher than them on the chain of command.

Tuesday's hearing was hardly the first time a military officer used those terms during sworn testimony.
The same day at a Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing, two Navy officials repeatedly referred to Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., with the title, "sir."

"Yes, sir," Navy Vice Adm. Bernard McCullough said when answering questions.

Wicker raised no objections.

She is YOUR Senator. Every once in awhile I find useful something the Nazi's would say, "Useless eaters." Boxer qualifies.

Re: Her Highness Barbara Boxer

I emailed Ms. Boxer and told her she needs to get over herself. What a disgusting display of narcissim and self rightousness.

Male Senators are called "sir" and it is entirely appropriate to call a female Senator Ma'am regardless of how far she has come to become a Senator.

I hope the public is watching and seeing the true nature of these liberal left wing Democrats.

They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Probably a good thing she is their senator cause it she was mine I would be working to vote her out.

I am sorry but when someone does something like that me I use the term more so. I would really have been in the hot seat with her because I would have been all "yes ma'am" "no ma'am" after that.
I have done that to doctors who act all high and mighty like they are really important. They want to be called doctor because they went to school and got a degree so I use their first name only. They either get over it or hate me. I general don't go back to them if they act that way.

Here is a link to a page you can email her from. You have to choose a topic and non exist for "stupidity" or "you are an insufferable narcissist" so I just chose "women's issues" (I thought that was funny) and then told her what I thought. I know she will never see my email but at least some devoted flunky who screens these things will have to see what a moron the world thinks her boss is.
