Social Security

When Renee' died something happened with Social Security that caused my check to be cut when it should not have been. This is the fourth month that my check has been cut like this. I have called SS and they keep telling me that I should be getting my old amount. Now when I call they tell me I'm "a computer issue". Please pray they get this fixed and my check goes back to normal. I'm having a really hard time making ends meet. This has got me extremely stressed.

Thanks,
Jason

Re: Social Security

A computer issue? That sounds about right for them to tell you something like that.

Praying with you that this will be quickly resolved.

Re: Social Security

My mom is having the same problems with Social Security. She is receiving Suvivor's Benefits. In November she received a letter from the SSA stating they had over paid her over $4000. She had to pay it back. My mom was to say the least upset. She went to the SSA office and they explained that there was in error in their part. My mom argued that why should she have to pay for THEIR ERROR. Of course their apologies were not going to pay the bills. From November until now she has not received a check. The SSA said that she will receive a check this month. Needless to say she will receive $300 less every month.

I will be praying for you.
