one day I got the ironing board and iron out to iron something while I had daycare kids here. One little girl walked into the room and stopped dead in her tracks with her mouth hanging open. She pointed at what I was doing and said, "Just WHAT is that thing??"

WOw! Now that's funny. Even my boys know what an ironing board is..they see it everyday and I"ve already taught them how to use it....and they're only 8 and 9! lol

What really shocked me was that this little girl's mom worked at a bank and had to wear a suit every day to work. How could she do that without an ironing board????? I'm thinking that the dry cleaner's loved her.

I have to admit I have ironed my socks. Not regularly, but on occasion.

BUT, I know a guy who irons his paper currency because he likes the way it lays in his wallet better when it is flat ironed instead of wadded. Now does anyone want to talk about OCD's????
