Just a little thought
Last night I was so blessed with Brother Alvear to be in a church we help start long ago...the orginal pastor is up in years and now his son and law and daugter are the pastors. I watched as their grown son (the orginal pastorīs grandson) and his wife sang and played music helping their mom and dad...Oh, what a joy to see the continuation of the gospel here in Brazil.
As we all go forward into a new year make your plans to make the difference in someoneīs life...and that difference many times makes the difference in coming generations...
After church we went to the original pastorīs home for snacks with a lot of his family and did not leave until close to 1 pm...they would have talked more but it is not real safe and we were in a borrowed car...
We have several churches like that ... all I can say it is wonderful to see fruits of years of work that will carry on long after we are gone...sometimes people say to me, Sister Alvear you have missed so much by not being in the USA...in reality whatever I may have missed has been greatly rewarded by seeing thousands of people come to know our lovely Lord.
Tonight we will travel back to our home in the north (we have been here in the south for a convention and a few special services) however we have many services planned and many outreaches...
As you listen to the songs such as, Hark the angels sing....never forget there are millions that do not know of His first coming..
We are blessed above measure....
