Thank you AFF

I just wanted to let you all know that I really appreciate the time that many of you have taken to share your various viewpoints. It has been really helpful to me and I have learned much from all of you.

I've learned that there is a lot of variety of beliefs among those of us who have a oneness Pentecostal background.

I've learned that OP can be a loaded acronym, which includes one steppers and three steppers, and who knows what else

I've learned about things like Hermeneutics. I've learned that you would have to be crazy to think you can best Prax in a debate.

I want to thank mfblume for getting me started in my study of Romans.

And I want to thank Houston, and Pel for teaching me what PCI means, and all about Thomas Fudge.

I want to tell PO, that even though I only know you through the internet, for some reason I'm really fond of you. I wish I could meet you in person and give you a hug.

Timothy, you are nuts , bar church lol

There were many things that I wanted to understand better, and you all have given me much of the information that I needed, even though you may not realize it or think so.

MTD, I'm glad you showed us those baptisms at IHOP, I really liked them. gave me pause to think.

I know I have not always been on my best behavior on this forum, and to any I have offended, I apologize.

Something about an internet forum allows you (has allowed me) to let walls down in a way that would not be possible otherwise. That isn't always a good thing I realize now. But in some ways it is. Sometimes you need to open all the windows and air the house out.

I'm really fond of so many of you I couldn't even begin to name all of you, but Aquilla, Scotty, Bro Eastman, crakjak, and Brother Epley are just a few that come to mind.

Well, I need to get to bed so I can get up for work in the morning, but for some reason I just wanted to make this post and let you guys know that I'm glad that I met all of you.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
