Something I've Noticed in Conservative Camps...

The Apple is never far from the tree..

Their Children don't seem to leave Dad & Mom...

I know of a church where the whole family who are now adults all live in a compound like setting... Bishop.... Pastor (SIL) &Wife (Daughter)... Sister&Husband(SIL) and SIL of Pastor's Wife all live within 300ft of each others...with Homes all facing the other..

Is this common??

Other locations SIL Slated to become Pastor... or Son taking the reins...

How common is this across the country??

My former pastor, who's son has now taken over the pastorate, live right next door to each other.

I have recently heard that the grandson will be marrying and moving into the basement 'apartment' of the elder. I'm sure he's been slated to be the up-and-coming assistant pastor.

I intend to buy several acres of land here where I pastor and build a small house on part of it for my two children to start out in. I pray that they never get too far away.

My grandparents raised me and when I married we lived nest door to them for 11 years until we went into home mission.

Some of my kids live with us on church land plus some of our church people..

Other kids on the other side of Brazil. If you stay together as a family and it is God's will I think it is beautiful. Several of our kids are in the south that is God's will for them, another is moving to the jungle away from here and that is God's will for him and his family...

Are you trying to stereotype conservatives? I'm very conservative, and I live nowhere close to my more liberal loved ones.
