NOAA Predicts very active 2006 hurricane season

That is right...2006...sound familiar?

2006 NOAA Hurricane Season Prediction

Compare to this years "predictions"...

2007 NOAA Hurricane Season Prediction

Any thoughts??

not as wrong. 2006 also saw an el nino if memory serves which skewed that season. i bet we see more than 06 but nothing approaching 05.

of course I speak with the voice of great personal knowelege.... i went to school for a history degree....

Let's hope so...but I doubt as wrong, the odds aren't there for another skunking.

I'm just amazed that they have the relentless gall to report basically the same story as last year.

Why not be honest and say:

"We really don't have a clue about the storm season or global warming, so let's prepare for the worst and hope for the best."
