Very true. My purpose was not to dredge up the past of someone. My intention is to warn those who think the Trinitarian ranks will not be some sort of "promised land" they can escape to in order to escape spiritual abuse and overbearing leadership.

I do wonder if more sexual abuse like this is happening in the Oneness ranks than we realize but goes unreported.

Shows how corrupt people can be by focusing on the sensational and departing from the practical teachings about mortifying the deeds of our flesh.

Never heard of Mr Paulk doing anything sensational. Always just seemed like a false teacher. As I recall he was/is a big "kingdom now" type.

Re: Spiritual abuse at its worst....(V)

I don't have the time to watch to this video. However, it has been my understanding, after looking at many different cults and how they put into practice their teachings, that the same basic principle is always at work, and while it may be practiced in different forms, the principle remains the same.

Bottom line - whenever we leave off following Jesus, who is the TRUTH, the light and the way, and allow our focus to be on man, and following man's ideas and doctrines.... inevitably cultic doctrine will generally be an outcome of that leadership.
