Re: Testimonies Of Miracles
His NAME is Jesus!
My nephew, in Indio, California, was gut shot: we lived
in Phoenix, AZ. My niece called us collect from a pay
phone right away, and we began to pray. We didn't know
it at the time, but his aorta had been ruptured.
The paramedics arrived, and they saw no hope for "Gordo":
but they called a helicopter that transferred "Gordo" from
the crime scene to Eisenhower Medical center (EMC) in
Palm Desert. This happened on Thanksgiving Day, so that
the hospital only had a skeleton crew of doctors and nurses,
and "Gordo" needed an immediate operation. But there was
no surgeon on staff at the time.
Fortunately (a coincidence?), a surgeon had arrived from
San Diego, to vacation in Palm Springs (about fifteen miles
away): he had also decided to visit EMC in Palm desert,
because it was the most progressive hospital in Southern
California, at the time. This surgeon also happened to be a
surgical specialist in the area that was required for "Gordo's"
operation. The surgeon had to sign into EMC, so he was
paged almost immediately; as soon as the patient arrived
in the helicopter, the surgeon was already scrubbed and
prepared when the patient arrived.
What the surgeon found, as soon as he opened "Gordo's"
abdomen, was that the blood had clotted around the wound:
that was the only reason that "Gordo" had not bled to death
within the first five minutes! As soon as the surgeon removed
the clot, the blood started gushing out but they were able
to clamp it shut until it was sown tight.
This miracle happened because a little fourteen year old girl
remembered that she had relatives 352 miles away who believed
in God: and God, knowing the need beforehand, had prepared
the surgeon's itinerary in advance.
