Government Stimulus?
So apparently we are getting 1,000 for every adult? Thats cool. Momma needs her some more shoes and by shoes I mean toilet paper and by toilet paper I mean bullets and by bullets I mean raman. 😂
So any pastors of the tithe recieving variety planning a cruise with the unexpected influx or are we doing the Christian thing and applying that 100xchurch membership to meeting needs in this trying time?
Maybe create teams of shoppers/errand runners/scroungers to network folks with what they need especially the older folks and ill not needing to go outside and be exposed.
Just curious how yall are planning.
Love to get a brainstorming thread going.

I mean if the government is trying to kill us, they can at least pay us.

Re: Government Stimulus?
I suggest tithing income from federal stimulus be put into a charity fund so the money is used to aid the poor.
If the church is poor, the pastor needs to be transparent about the monthly fiscal picture. It may be the church needs the stimulus to keep the lights on and payroll met.

Church’s should not have money. The Pastor should be close to a poor beggar as he can. While the saints are increased with goods.

Re: Government Stimulus?
I read that Treasury Secy Mnuchin and Trump are working on the details. Nothing official yet that I'm aware. First proposal was for those making less than $100K, I read it was lowered to those making less than $85K.
I'm more in favor of suspending payroll taxes and doing other things rather than just giving everyone $1,000.

Silly me! I was thinking the pastors WERE saints.
Well I’m pretty sure SOME are. All the others teach tithing!

Re: Government Stimulus?
Fox has Mnuchin saying Trump wants to mail checks to everybody in the next few weeks.
Still can't find anything official though.

Why not? The money is created out of thin air anyway, they give billions if not trillions to companies and foreign nations, why not give money to Americans? Cutting someone a check is far less nanny-state socialistic paternalism than trying to manage everyone's finances by fiddling with payroll taxes and "other things"....
Of course payroll taxes ought to be eliminated anyway, scamdemic or no scamdemic.
