Never in my life have I witnessed such buffoonery. How on earth did this woman make it this far in politics? I mean, she isn't good enough to hold position as the city dog catcher, let alone a Vice Presidency. She visits my wife's old college "George Mason University" and has a child make a statement about Israel. How Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians. Instead of politically waltzing the student back around to paint Israel as a bastion for peace and serenity in the Middle East. Our drunk Vice President goes Jesse Jackson on the student. By telling her that she needs her truth to be known. Good God from Zion!!!!! Political suicide to say the least. What a bone head. My lands, where did they grow this woman??? We have a geriatric knumbskull as a president, and an inebriated Vice President. I'm telling you guys (all five of you) who post here. We have to pray that Old Hair Sniffing Joe the Corn Pop killer, doesn't die. Because this moron will be in the oval office.

Now, I understand why you said that, but what you did right there is part of the problem. Politicians aren't our "leaders", they are servants of the people. The politicians and bureaucrats aren't the government, We The People are. They're merely the ones managing the affairs of government for us.

So long as we keep this mindset of them as our leaders, we'll never get this country back on track (assuming it's still possible).

They work for us, and in all actuality, should be good leaders though.

Actually they are our "leadership" whether we like it or not. They just happen to be the leadership this country deserves. Daniel 4:17 is pretty clear concerning the fact that at times God places some lousy individuals over us. Whether it is boss, a pastor, local and federal leadership. In 1 Samuel 8:19-20 the children of Israel wanted Samuel to give them a physical king. Which is pretty much what they wanted ever since they strolled through the red sea. They built a golden calf to replace Moses. They wanted a physical king to replace Samuel, God's mouth piece. Nothing ever really drastically changes and therefore men seek out men to follow right off the edge of the proverbial cliff, smack dab into the ditch. We need a little 2 Chronicles 7:14 in our lives, and then we will get leadership which may bring restoration. Yet, seems to me that both sides are just wanting to go to fist city, and finish this in their flesh. Because maybe, just maybe if we can vote really hard we will elect a strong ultra conservative hero who will lead us back to 1776. Then all will be flaky biscuits and creamy sausage gravy. We all know he doesn't have to be a Bible believer, because the argument is made every election by Pentecostals and Apostolics alike. "We aren't voting in a church leader, but a president" Well, then don't cry boo hoo hoo all the way home when you end up with Satan wearing a suit and tie.

That's the thing though, that's not how it's supposed to be. The politicians are granted certain authority to do their jobs, but no more than we permit them to have. They're supposed to act as stewards, not conductors guiding our steps. Yes, the CIC does lead the military, but that's not the same as leading the people.

We need to stop following politicians, because that's how they get big heads and gradually build up this elitist mentality.
