Have You Ever Been In A Flash Mob?

A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.

I read in the news that they had a real flash mob in Vermont and now they
are rethinking the public nudity laws.

Well... If I ever have the opportunity to take part in one... I will make sure that it isn't one that involved nudity... both for my sake and the sake of the others participating.

I vaguely remember reading or hearing about this hobby. It is very strange and it must be very surrreal showing up to do this random thing and see a lot of other total strangers doing the same thing.

Not my cup of tea but interesting.

Yeah the Home Depot Mob has got to be one of the best laid out flash mobs of all time... so far...

They also do one where they all check their backpacks containing cell phones at the public library and then they all call them the same time.

That is great!

I can see youth groups doing this - I know we would have while in Bible school - shoot, we basically did and just didn't realize what we were doing.

We'd storm K-Mart or the grocery store late at night.

We did too, except it was to purchase many rolls of toilet paper to terrorize bible schools
