Pastors sitting the platform down.

I am hearing more and more that pastors are sitting down the platform musicians and singers. Has this happened in any of your churches?

I am expecting any day for Pastor Hardwick to sit down the Christ Church choir, band, and brass section and start having praise and worship with an acoustic guitar and a battery powered amp.

Get 2 former pastors to attend and you'd have a real recipe for church growth

We occasionally have two of our three former Associate pastors back to preach!!

They also came back a few months ago for Pastor Hardwick's wedding. Paul Russell, Phil Goldsberry and Dan Scott all three conducted the wedding.

Of course, he'd do it to show everyone that he's in control ...

I am really out of the loop. Who did Pastor Hardwick marry?...Please don't tell me Sis. Hardwick. I remember that the Sis. Hardwick to whom he was married passed away a while back.

I have had the unfortunate responsibility to ask ministers (preachers, musicians, teachers) at various time to take a break from public ministry for a season.

Without going into details, after attempting to work through issues and shield people's poor judgement, it just fell that way. It broke my heart.
