It Makes Me Sad.........I Dont Want To Go That Way......

i was deeply saddened yesterday to learn of some sad news of a friend of mine...........it is the second time that this has happened and it makes me sick......both of these friends of mine have changed the message that they preach in the last few years........things that were once important are no longer important.......they felt as if there were liberties they they were being cheated.......now it has come out that both marriages have had infidelity ..........guess they had trouble handleing all that liberty........this makes me so sad.......i dont wanna go there........i sincerely pray for them......this is so sad......

So, do you think if they hadn't of changed the message they would have stayed in their own pasture?

No, I think it's fine to talk about as long as names aren't mentioned.

Unfortunately, it seems to be a real problem these days.

Very true.

I just heard last week a pretty unique saying - the reason the grass always looks greener on the other side is because there's a lot of cow "stuff" over there!

Marriages no matter the denomination or non-religious ending at about the same rate. What at like 60% these days.

I have seen all walks of faith walk away.

It is by the Grace of God and his help, that I have made it 20 years.

I give God all the glory.

Honk....
Once the Holy Ghost sets up residency in your life and you learn to be a disciple of HIM....Once you have established a relationship...then and only then will you have the POWER to sustain...Not "lines" or rules.... but REALTIONSHIP!

I would venture to say that if changing the rules or the lines brought them destruction....they had relationship issues anyways.
Funny thing those "rules"....we see them and think everything is ok.....but we dont know and never will know whats going on in the heart of man.

I don't think what you have described helps but let's be real about, standards or no standards, there are marriages ending.
