I'm hesitating...but I'm curious.
Please treat me like a young child and don't stomp all over my pretty little thread.
What makes a person a con/lib/mod...? And any of the other labels that go along (ultra..etc).
Is there some basic set of things that sets a person in each category? I'm mostly asking cuz well..I *think* I probably fall into a fairly XYZ camp, but then I tend to side with those who say they're ZYX in threads. So what am I likely to be when I grow up? And what can I do about it if I don't like what it looks like it might be?

A proper understanding of the scripture, makes one what a con, calls a liberal.

Oh now that is just so not helpful. lol
I think I see what you're saying but I'd like to know if I'm right. Care to give an example? *sigh* That's where the thread could go south in a fast way.

And ok, so it's not how you live (thinking, me cutting me hair, vs not) it's what you feel scripture says about it? (ditto wearing pants) So one can *appear* extremely conservative, and yet be considered liberal?

Conservative and liberal are words that have lost all absolute meaning.
There is the political meanings, church meanings, and finally "life" meanings. Someone could be "liberal" who is always thinking outside the box and living life to its fullest. Someone could be "conservative" because they are living how they always taught they should live, not knowing there is a whole other world out there. Case in point, most of the farming community currently surrounding us.

I am actually a very conservative person myself... but some on here tend to think I am the devil herself lately LOL... Truthfully. are you wanting to know what the definitions of these are according to aff or real life? And according to which camp?

AFF seems a fairly decent cross section of *most* of the Apostolic community. I think I could handle taking the ideas presented and loosely followed here and using those to base my future ponderings off of. And, I'd like to hear from all camps what they view the differences to be.
I already know that in real life I'm all mixed up too. Personally, I'm pro-X but if I voted I'd vote the other way. I'm way not getting into listing any of the real life things that I am that way on...talk about killing a thread. lol Or maybe that'd just give it new life.

Ok I am taking these off of the lexicon....
So these are AFF categorizations
Conservative - (adjective) Biblical. Everyone admits to being a conservative.
Liberal - (noun) Someone who is likely pro-life and anti-homosexual marriage and a Christian but doesn't hold to PAJC doctrine. No single person will declare "I am a liberal." See Conservative.
Moderate - (noun) 1. The condition of fearing association with a minority. Collectively coined by the majority. 2. Really biblical.
Now I am gonna go ponder on the other for a while (actually I am watching Thads church webcast and it is an awesomeeee service right now!!! )
