Why would anyone be upset about it?

Are they afraid that a lost person might come to church?

well first of all, advertising on TV is against the rules that preachers agree to uphold

Next, It was on a station that has to bleep out a lot of bad language

lastly, the biker look and style doesn't represent Pentecost too well

God forbid that any seedy persons would show up at church and tarnish its image!

Would to God that that the pews would be filled with them and that they would think that they are welcome the way they currently are. Sounds an aweful lot like what Jesus would do. After all, He was accused of hanging out with sinners.

This church is to be commended for thinking more about the reaching the lost than the status quo. If people get offended, they need another trip to the altar under the heat of the HG allowing their cold, hardened hearts to become plyable once again and touched by the condition of the lost! IMHO, anyway.

I mean, really.....what a terrible thing that the sick would show up at the hospital!

Good for the pastor that held this service. Maybe he will win some bikers to Christ by letting them know that he cares about them.
