On the website. My critique, that I see on a lot of church websites, is it is really just a billboard for the church. There is nothing important said on the main page. Just "events" and "advertisements" for various things....is this a web outreach to sinners? If so and I visited this site, where would I go to find out how to be saved or why, in terms of the Spiritual, would I want to visit.

Very UN evangelistic.

Instead it's about the programs. I find this to be a disturbing trend in church websites.

Where is the gospel? Why should a sinner visit?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Praxeas I was a member in the late eighties I promise they have no problem with outreach. Its people to people there. They are an amazing congregation
for a city church.I think your critique is a little too stern in this instance.

Looks very nice. Maybe they will begin to have webcasts of their services now that they are in the new Sanctuary.

How many does Life Tabernacle run now? Last time I was there was in the 1970's and it was about 1000-1500. At the time it was tied with Calvary Tab in Indy and POA in Alexandria as the biggest UPC churches. Maybe Stockton was about that same size also. I can't remember.

They probably sprinkle now. That is where ou end up when you compromise by building big churches, use video, etc.
