I usually vote Absentee so that I can help MrsB fill in the boxes and do what makes this a great country. After moving, I did not get my address changed as timely as I would have enjoyed. I received my ballot on Friday afternoon and filled it in, sealed and signed the envelope. I decided to walk it into the polling place. So I have to stand in line and get all the volunteers worried over what ever to do with a sealed signed ballot. I then signed my name that I was leaving my absentee ballot at the polling place (this is allowed under California law).
The funniest thing was finding the polling place. I see a set of signs- 100 feet ahead, and see a large 2 foot by 3 foot sign.....
VOTE HERE in a font like Thad uses on the Newsflashes all red and HUGE. The problem is the voting was still 50 feet away in the Library- which also had a sign on the outside declaring- VOTE HERE. The sign was outside the Men's room!
They were moving it as I was leaving.
The 3 of us voting all chuckled at the misplacement of the sign.
