My Ebay 2001 Jaguar died last week

I had the honor of driving my Ebay Jaguar for about 18 months with no trouble. Last week the dreaded light came on that said GEAR DEFAULT. I took it in and they said it would cost $6800.00 to fix this problem. Then they gave us a list of other things that needed to be fixed, total round 10,000.
Many of you know I only paid 10,000 for the car. They told us we could probably get 1500.00 out of it for parts. I loved that car.

We own a 2002 tahoe but we keep that in nashville , for our staff to use.
So we had to go purchase a new vehicle. With our new baby Adley coming we needed an SUV. So we bought a Black 2008 Expedition EL.

Its nice, but its NOT my Ebay Jaguar. I loved that car

What's sad is they'll give you $1500 for the parts and probably make $10,000 on selling them to others. Bummer.

I know how you feel. The only car that I ever have bonded with was my Saab and I had to turn it in at the end of the lease.

Congrats on your new ride. I bet it's awesome. I pray that God blesses you with another jag just as nice and just as cheap as the one you had!!

Count your blessings instead! You are getting something much more precious a new bundle of joy! and A brand NEW, more "family" suitable car...wow I'd be delirious!
GOD is good!

This reminds me of my DIL when she and my son were first married .. well before that, she had her own red corvette sooooo cute! AND IMHO representative of a single..*bit on the wild side * bachlorette kinda car.

Well..within a year of getting married my son talked her into trading it in for an SUV just like the one you mentioned getting, a more "familyish" vehicle for their/her brood..she did not take it well. LOL she is now over it though.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I always look in the parking lot for a white Jag with the real Jag on the front when I shop at Calandros. Now I will have to look for a 2008 Black Expedition!

I mentioned it on another thread, but thanks again for the gift of the Christmas album. I am enjoying it and weeping as I listen to the songs about the greatest gift ever given when our almighty God became a babe in a manger! THANKS!

Back in the mid 90's I leased Mrs. CC1 a new Inifniti. Then at the end of the lease I put her in a Minivan!!!! I don't think she has ever forgiven me.
