I must say that I am both amazed and utterly perplexed at such statements as this that I've read within this thread! Please, folks, consider the following:

Jeremiah 9:23-24
Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: BUT let him that glorieth glory in THIS, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exerciseth lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight.

Is it sufficient that one say he ONLY knows God, yet does NOT understand Him (that is to say the underlying reason for His relationship and interaction with mankind)? Did God intend that we remain ignorant/unaware of some things pertaining to Him, and not learn of them until the end of all things? I hardly think so! I make this assertion based upon the following:

Revelation 10:7
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath DECLARED unto his servants the prophets.

Does not this statement disclose that God has already DECLARED all of the information regarding the mystery pertaining to Him to His servants, the prophets (spokesmen) of olden times, who were "moved" (inspired/motivated) by the Holy Ghost to record them for our enlightenment?

The point I seek to make is simply this: If one is yet ignorant of the manner in which God acts, or of things which pertain to the mysteries which surround Him, then such lack of understanding can only be attributed to a failure to heed and obey Paul's instructions to Timothy:

II Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I do NOT make these statements with the intent of shaming or belittling anyone, but ONLY to stress our need to carefully attend to the things which we publish, lest we be found "ashamed" when appearing before the coming Judgment seat of Christ" for failing to "...grow in grace, AND in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." (II Peter 3:18)

Did not Jesus EXPLICITLY state: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into ALL truth... AND he will shew you things to come"? (John 16:13) What excuse do we have for remaining ignorant of the manner, or mannerisms of God's actions regarding man? Did not Jesus also assert: Unto you it is given to KNOW the mystery of the kingdom of God..."? (Mark 4:11) Even the apostle Paul admonished us to be aware of the gravity of our responsibility with respect to this matter: Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and STEWARDS of the mysteries of God." (I Corinthians 4:1)

Is anyone yet ignorant of anything which pertains to God and the great mysteries which surround Him? If so, then the problem lies with the failure to make the necessary investment of our time and energies to explore the Word of God to determine them, for surely God has caused them to be recorded there for our benefit! And yes, it does take some effort on our part - It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to SEARCH out a matter. (Proverbs 25:2)
