As has been said a mark is something visible on someones body by the very definition of "mark". IF this passage in Rev. is speaking of a literal mark, (as you know I don't) it would not matter is the system was cashless or not, you would have to have a literal tattoo that was visible on you right hand or forehead for this passage to be fulfilled.
