Minn.congresswoman Dem. Betty Mcollum omits under God while leading congress in the pledge. Great taste in leaders up ther first Jesse Ventura now this and Al franken ,What a joke.On youtube for those interested.

Maybe because he has quoted the Declaration of Independence lately and omitted the words "by their Creator."

The Declaration of Independence says:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

I think that when the President quotes that he says, "...they are endowed with certain unalienable rights..." leaving off the words "by their Creator"

He says all men are created equal about 20 times. It doesn't seem like he's trying to say there wasn't a creator because the very notion of created implies that there was something that created. BTW, I just love conservatives and their quote mining strategies... But I hope they keep on crying wolf, because eventually if they cry wolf enough people will no longer believe them.

You haven't heard? EVERYTHING is Obama's fault!! Currently, there's a dead spot in the grass in my front yard, my cat keeps throwing up on the carpet, my dog barks at the neighbor dog like crazy, and I've gain 4 pounds in the last week, much to my dismay.....and it's ALL Obama's fault!!!!

And Bush blamed everything on Clinton, and Clinton blamed everything on Bush, and Bush....well, he didn't blame it on Reagan directly, but his actions said so, and Reagan blamed everything on Carter.......Well, Reagan was right!
