Nazarene Preacher to be baptized!
We started Bible school two Saturdays ago and voila.....A young man who attends the nearby Nazarene Church joined us. After two Saturdays of
Who is Your God, Old Testament Survey, Pneumatology and Biblical Greek this young man has decided to not only attend our services but bring clothes to be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for remission of Sins....yippeee.....
We didn't do it.....Jesus did....we are only servants. It is amazing though watching all Jesus does. I would not want to miss it for the world.

I applaud your ambition to convert other Christians to Jesus and create a system to increase your church attendance, but it seems misleading to refer to your personal home Bible studies as a Bible School

Our church baptized a Nazarene pastor on a Sunday afternoon. No audience. He also spoke in tongues.
Sometimes speaking in toungues doesn't go over well in certain denominations. I didn't see a reference to :

Some people just savor the things of God.

I wasn't quoting or citing, Coadie-the-literalist.

Congratulations!
Though doesn't really seem like the right word.
A man from our church's jail ministry was baptized on Sunday morning, and so was someone else's child.
It's great to see the positive affects of God moving in a person's life!

Re: Nazarene Preacher to be baptized!
If a person is not baptized in Jesus Name they need to be. Glad to hear this person was baptized according to the plain teaching of scripture.

Re: Nazarene Preacher to be baptized!
Just an FYI...Some posts were deleted that were heading toward baptism debate. Debate such as that needs to be confined to The Debate Room.
This is a wonderful testimony thread, let's please keep it that way. Congrats Trouvere!

Just wondering if you checked out our link but my husband has a Doctorate and I am completeing my last paper for my masters. What Home Bible Study?
We have a school Apostolic Theological Seminary and Bible College.
www.alchurch.webs.com
btw if the goal were increased church attendance it would not matter what we preached if we measured it against the current tide that is called christiandom in these United States but we don't. We measure it against what the Bible teaches as to how a believer needs to enter into the Kingdom.
Just a few thoughts.Thank you for your interest.
In Jesus,
Sis.D
