Urgent prayer please.... Baby involved

All I can say right now is please pray!! My nannys son just called and his wife just had a baby 8 days ago... major postpartum issues and she and the baby need your prayers right now!!! PLEASE!!! Heading there now and will update when i can..

Will say a prayer! I struggled with severe post partum after my first child. It is not something that will just go away...Praying for you and with you!

Thank you all for the prayers. She is doing much better now. He (Baby Ethan) has colic and it was just at a melting point for mom but things seemed much worse. Her husband got there right before me and her mil did and he had eased the situation tremendously. She had a c section and the biggest problem is that she is having problems healing (they did the big cut for some reason) and its infected and she cannot even take her pain meds as they totally knock her out so she was just laying on the floor trembling in pain and then the postpartum wasnt making this any easier.

I helped her get in the tub and then her hubby took over and I left. MIL has the baby now and he said as soon as he got her settled he was gonna take her out for a nice calm ride in their boat and let her just relax for a while. She hasnt been away from him for even 5 min since his birth including even taking baths with him. Its first baby and she just doesnt know how to deal with it.. We are making her take time away from baby and relax so pray that this doesnt get too much more serious and thanks

Have they tried "Gripe Water" yet for the baby?

Not sure what that is!? LOL... having had 2 who had it I guess I should know but we got him settled very quick... I think it was more with moms final straw... she normally calms him pretty well tonight was just different.

I think the not being able to take her pain meds was the biggest thing. She is in so much pain and it just threw her over the edge.
