Testimony of God's Healing

I have shared with you, my AFF family, about my advanced AIDS prognosis a year ago. At that time, I had full blown AIDS and very little hope of living. I became a reclusive, bitter man yet God saw what he wanted me to be and he used you to help me realize God's plan. Last summer, several of you met me here in Houston to stand witness at my rebaptizim where my healing started that Sunday afternoon.

It has been a year of many ups and downs and I had noticed several months ago a pain (ache) in my left thigh and pelvic region. I had stopped my HIV meds quite a long time ago, mostly due to financial problems and no insurance coverage.

After having the HIV virus for nearly ten years now, I knew that, unless God intervened and healed me, that the chances of my disease progressing expeditiously would be very likely.

A few weeks ago, I went in to see a specialist who did a very thorough examination, including ultrasound, xrays, CT-scan and a slew of blood work. After his initial assessment, there were two tumors that appeared, which seemed to bring great concern to him and his colleagues.

One tumor that was located near my hip/pelvic area was over 6cm and the smaller one was 4cm located in my groin area. I contacted a few of my friends here on AFF to ask for them to pray, which they did and I know made a big difference.

Last Tuesday before last at 7:00am, I was lying on a table at UT Imaging where more scans were taken and biopsies followed that morning of the two tumors. As I was lying there, my mind was filled with all the wonderful friends here that have encouraged me and I felt such a peace knowing that I had so many good friends believing for a good report.

Well, this morning was the day I had to go in and get my results from the radiologist from UT Imaging and from the various blood work taken a couple of weeks ago.

I had ask my caretaker from last year if he would go with me and he agreed. He kept on asking me if I was nervous and I said, "No, God is going to heal me Allen!", which he kept on telling me, "Yeah, right!".

The doctor came in and reviewed the blood work first, which were my t-cell count, viral load and the results from the tumor markers. The doctor looked very puzzled and of course I was asking, "So, what's the news!". He left the room which seemed like forever and one of his colleagues came in with him.

He kept asking me, "So, you're telling me that you have not been on any HIV medications since last year?". Which I replied, "No, doctor, you have my complete medical records right there." He asked me that two other times and my answer was the same each time.

Well, look what the Lord has done...My viral load, which measures the amount of virus present in my body, which last year was over 800,000 was today only 20,000!!! I just began to laugh with joy and with tears streaming down my face began to just worship the Lord. The friend who went with me almost fell out and he kept repeating, "NO, way, you are so lucky" and I came back each time saying, "No, Allen, not lucky, blessed to know Jesus my healer". All of my other labs came back NORMAL! No liver damage...God healed my liver! The doctors didn't know what in the world was happening, but I did! My t-cell count which was around 28 climbed to 401, PRAISE THE LORD! The t-cell count in a healthy individual is around 1,000. What this means was that I no longer have AIDS, but I still have the HIV virus.

Now, the tumors. The larger tumor appeared to have shrunk by 3cm! Praise the Lord. I told them that I was going to be their first case of a genuine healing from this disease! They scheduled me to go back for some more test, but I am steadfast that I am healed. It's only a matter of time before my t-cell count is normal and my viral load is too!

I cannot stop crying just thinking about what I have gone through and to see the faithfulness of my loving Saviour and Healer - Jesus.

I called my Dad to share with him the miracles that have happened and all he could do was weep. Praise God!

Thank you AFF family and especially Jesus for all he has done and will do in my life!

Please rejoice with me today, because God is so worthy of all the praise and thanksgiving!

Love,

Kenneth

PS: I will be off line for a few hours today, but I just wanted everyone to know the good news.

My obedience to the Lord prolongs my life. (Prov. 10:27)

The measure of faith God gave me is growing by leaps and bounds. (Rom. 12:3)

I discern the Lord's body and receive all that He has provided for me, including healing for my physical body. (1Cor.11:23-30)

There is power, power, wonder working power,
in the Blood of the Lamb. There is power, power,
wonder working power, in the Precious Blood of
the Lamb.

(Why is there SO much Power in the Name!

Is that where He "hid" His Blood!! In His Name!)

In the Name of Jesus, In the Name of Jesus;
We have the Victory. In the Name of Jesus
In the Name of Jesus, Demons will have to flee.
Tell me, Who can, stand before Us, if we go in His dear Name;
Jesus, Jesus, In Precious Jesus,
We have the VICTORY!!!!!

Bump for CB1!

I have been thinking about this song all day, every since I saw your post this morning. I wanted to share it with you, I know it isn't the best quality and it isn't going to be everyone on the forums cup of tea, but I thought you might be blessed by it.

Sis. DizzyDe,

I will say if it were any of us that had received the GREAT REPORT
that Bro. ChosenbyOne did, that song would certainly be our cup of
tea!!! Thank you for posting it!

I pray this thread will not die as it may be just what someone needs
tomorrow or next week. It could be me or any of us!

Thirty eight years ago yesterday, we buried our little five and a half/yr.
old daughter. It happened so suddenly. A young teen aged girl who had
just received her beginners license, and with no adult with her, only her
eight and twelve year old sisters, struck and killed Kim as she stood be-
side the street, waiting on her older sister who was inviting two precious
girls whose mother had run off with another man, to go to children's
church with us. Suddenly without warning, tragedy struck our home.

God is a comforter, a healer, a mender of broken hearts. He is what-
ever we need, when we need it!!

I thank God that HE helped me to become better so that I would not
become bitter! The LORD giveth and the LORD taketh away. Blessed
be the Name of the LORD!

Our youngest son is 33 yrs. today. I was experiencing labor pains on
the 25th. I remember telling the Lord, "Lord, it probably wouldn't mean
a thing to anyone else, but, Lord, if You would, don't let my baby be
born on the day Kim was killed. That had been five years before. God
honored that request just for me and has honored many, many since.

I love Him, I adore Him, I trust Him and I have witnessed many great
things He has done. These signs WILL follow those who believe Him
and trust Him with their whole heart!

Blessings,

Falla39

Sis. Falla, I had no idea you had lost a child, I cannot imagine what a parent has to go through when that happens. In my mind there are not many things worse that could happen in life than losing a child. And that the anniversary of it was yesterday!

You are such an amazing example of the Love and Grace of God, you live your life in complete testimony to Him. I honor you as a Mother in Christ, and I am so thankful that I have gotten to know you through this Forum.

Quoting you,

I had not read the previous threads until today. I came along after the start of all this.

I do want to say. GOD IS GOOD. Thank you for sharing.

Our prayers are with you. We are trusting as you, for complete healing. Our God can do ANYTHING.
