here it is again. Another hot miserable episode that I could do without.
I am a US Navy vet and holder of the order of the Blue Nose, which means I crossed the arctic circle, and I seriously lusted after assignment to operation deep freeze, a six month winter-over in Antarctica.
All I know is that it is only Memorial day and I am sick of the heat already... gimme back my snow and ice quick...

LOL my kinda place. My dad was a blue nose too. The Navy rewarded him for his serviceas a seabee in the nam by posting him to Reykjavik.. poor guy can barely take Texas winters...

High is expected to be 96 today and get well into the 100's by next week. "Do do do do do I'm lovin it!"
(And been spending the last few days redoing and adding to our irrigation system. Now all of the house plants on the back patio have a drip line to them.)
