How Close To World War 3?

America talks every day about stopping Iran from getting Nuclear bombs. Yet they never mention one important fact. Irans Nuclear reactors were built by Russia.

There is now talk of the US and Nato attacking Syria to change their regime. One little fact they dont consider. The Russians have been preparing a Naval base in Syria for some time now.

Syria and Iran have a defence treaty. To attack one would in theory bring the other one into a war alongside them. Iran has stated today they have 150,000 missiles pointed at Israel.

There are American Carriers headed for Syria. There are Russian Warships headed for Syria. Where does this lead?

The Russians have a strong defence pact with the Chinese. Russia represents thousands of Nuclear bombs and missles. China represents hundreds of Nuclear bombs and missles and millions of soldiers.

The US is led by a socialist Marxist taught by the Socialist Organizer Saul Alinsky. His agenda was to defeat America by bad government ruining it from within to create a power vacumn to be filled by Communism. Do we even remember what "Communism" is?

Russia is led by a powerful Vladimer Putin. He has accused NATO of trying to surround Russia for years now. Are we headed for a showdown in 2012? America has fought two minor wars in the last decade. We have now proped up two Islamic governments. Governments that exist on the basis of an Islamic Constitution. Thousands of Americans killed and wounded for the strengthening of Islam. Does that make any sense?

We have now enraged the Pakistanis. We have been giving them many billions of dollars to allow us to fight the Taliban in Afghanistan. They now accuse us of an unprovoked attach killing two dozen of their soldiers. They themselves have 100 or so nuclear devices. They themselves are also an Islamic government hostile to the faithful Christians living there.

So how long before WW3? What would America look like a month into a war against Russia, China, Iran, Syria, and probably Pakistan and North Korea?

At the moment it would take all the power of these countries to come close to a match with the US power. But hopefully we can avoid such an awesome prospect, because no match what power you have leadership is required to use it properly, to avoid war as well as to use it when unavoidable.

Russis and China have one aircraft carrier each, the US has eleven. All the war machine in the world come no where close the US resources. But again, the greatest can sometimes misused those resources and be defeated.

All it would take is a few strategic strikes to topple the economy and destabilize our social structure.

I believe we're on the brink...but it might be ten years before things go hot.

Well...for my two cents...I think we are close to something happening...10 years is really nothing...time passes so fast...

I am a red blooded American through and through; however, my love for this country will not stop a world power from being toppled. I hate the idea that we would no longer be relevant.

Several years ago my brother-in-law and I were talking about future events as we understand them based on our understanding of the Bible.

Neither of us see the United States in Revelation chapters 4 through 19 which we consider to be "the tribulation."

This could be for several reasons:
1. perhaps the U.S. is included in the European/Roman confederacy as just another member nation.
2. perhaps the U.S. has ceased to exist as a world power
3. perhaps the accounts in Revelation cover "the world" as it was understood at the time when there was no knowledge of the North and South American continents.

It is my understanding that our current President wants to turn the U.S. into a second rate socialist state like Greece.

As bad as our economy is our military is still vastly superior to the Russian military at this point. Russia's economic difficulty after the collapse of the Soviet Union means it is no longer a superpower. I am more wary of China than Russia at this point.

The Iran situation is a difficult one. The USA has gambled that internal pressure would topple the current government and possibly mean a new government more open to cooperating with the world in regards to nuclear proliferation. That strategy seems to either be going nowhere or going so slowly it is clear Iran will have a nuclear weapons capability before it comes to fruition.

The scary thing about a country like Ian getting nuclear weapons capability is that they are not governed by logic or a sense of self preservation that both the United States and Soviet Union had during the cold war. There are elements of the government of Iran that would risk everything to nuke Israel.

Look what it did to what they call the American "psyche" when two buildings in NYC were destroyed on 9-11. It brought about a recession. What if it were the whole of NYC?

It would only take nuclear hits on 5-10 cities and our way of life would be over and millions dead. It would be nice if its 10 years away. Seems much closer to me.
