Jeesh, when I was saved I had no idea what the difference was between Oneness and Trinity, and frankly, I didn't care. The Holy Ghost experience was what set me free. I was baptized in Jesus name later. Also I didn't really get a personal revelatory understanding of Oneness until almost several months later. I hadn't abandoned the Trinity or anything of that nature, I was just being a Christian. I can't imagine that I wasn't saved until months after my Holy Ghost experience.
Some of you folks are loosing the point of it all for your sacramentalism and your demand for the letter over the Spirit. C'mon guys. Certainly those who see God through the stained glass tradition of the Trinity have a limited concept of God, but it's a misunderstanding of God and his nature, not a denial of His Godhood. Many of our movement's founders who embraced Jesus name baptism didn't fully understand Oneness until much later.
Things aren't as cut and dry as they might seem. I think when we compare our founders to the theological police today, it's evident that they had far more depth and allowed God to be God far more than we do.
