This thread is NOT about women preachers!
This thread is NOT about a woman´s place whatever you consider it to be.

There are several threads about women but I would like to share a DEEP burden that is on my heart about women.

In certain conferences I have noticed over the years that so many conferences are geared to men...I am not speaking of a men´s or ladies conferences but conferences where the whole family attends.

You hear phrases like this: Men let´s all come and pray...men lets all get under the burden...men let´s all gather to pray for these people seeking the Holy Ghost...and I have sat back in obedience but seen ladies walk over and sit down and just start talking, showing pictures of grandkids or this or that...some maybe mumbling a prayer but like they are in another world.

BUT...at home church they are cooking peanut brittle, selling cakes, praying in the alter and helping carry the load...but it seems at times like conventions they are pushed away and a Talmudic image is expressed and then men wonder why the wife walks off...

Those that know me KNOW I am not promoting manly women...BUT neither do I think men carry the weight of a service by themselves.

Ladies talk to me crying sometimes expressing things some would never share with their husbands wondering why they even come to some meetings...

In some areas I am afraid because of peer pressure women get mistreated and I am not for having a pity party.

I talked to one lady (a very popular preacher´s wife) and she said to me.”I feel like I have to go to conferences just to sit in my beautiful clothes because I cannot be the real me. I have an image to portray...”

When we hear people say so and so just up and left (talking about some preacher´s wife) No they did not just up and leave.

We really need to pray for the Pentecostal family in general...Cults drive people to far extremes...

The church of all places should be the place we can be the real person. There are many type sins of pride and one of them is feeling superior to another person.

But, but, but...isn't this thought awfully similar to the other thread discussing the persecution of women in the church??? SURELY that's not happening...

The further away from The Light the worse it will be.

Jesus is the Light and He didn't push anyone away.

I like you don't advocate women taking over, neither do I condone being pushed aside.

In the Spiritual realm there is no gender.

Of course not ... a balanced approach to this issue would mean stating the obvious ... the Apostolic FemiNazis want to take over.

If we understood the first church we would see that all are important. There are jobs for everyone. My favorite scripture about the NT church is Acts 8:4

4Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.

We have quite a few of "THOSE"....and they are preaching the word...

If we could only realize how much we need each other and how involved we need to be in every service TOGETHER...

I feel preplexed when I hear women say "that´s his job, his interest" hobbies may be like that BUT not church work...

Most people may not be in the places I visit and hear the remarks I hear but let me share with you IF we are not together considering one another we learn to go seperate ways...and then you know the rest of the story,,,

I want to take over exactly nothing. BUT when women are not included in the husband´s spiritual life...the devil has a prince charming on the way for the lonely wife...
Remember I am not pushing for women pasotrs or even women preachers I am talking about the relationship of husband and wife/ man and woman in the presence of God...
Go read my first post...I am not talking about abuse. I am talking about women that want to be with their husband praying in the alter, women of PRAYER that want to do something more than look like a beautiful centerpiece on the table. Women that have enlisted in the fight in the heavenlies...yet many times are afraid to pray as iit might not be the right thing to do where they are at.
