Suggestions for Boston Trip

Hesetmefree338's thread on New Orleans got me thinking I should ask for some advice on my upcoming trip to Boston.

We're going to be taking in a Bruins/Red Wings game... and trying to get some sightseeing and shopping in.

Any suggestions on great restaurants or sights?

I told the couple that is coming with us (M&V) that if we do NY we have to invite you guys so we get the full experience!!!

I'd email your wife but I'm sure the last thing she wants to do right now is type a long email with two fingers.

If you do go to NYC and don't take me, at least bring me back some Grimaldi's Pizza!
Also, check with KO for hotel rooms in Boston.

MMM has her right hand bandage off now!!! So she can type!

Boston Museum of Science. Simply the "experience" of the Subways (I used to park out in Arlington and take the Red Line in, parking for $2 for the day.) Legal Seafood (might not overly appeal to you since you are close enough to the water to know what decent seafood is) Government Center/Fanuel Hall. Charlestown Navy Yard and the ships berthed there. Shopping in Downtown. The view from "the top of the Pru." There used to be a sandwich shoppe on the way out of Beantown called Bill & Bob's and they had 8 inch onion rolls with what I can remember was almost more meat than I could eat. Oh, and near Boston Garden- The North End and authentic Canoli!

(Most of these are better suited for Summertime)

Legals is the place to eat seafood. And ANYWHERE in the North End for Italian. A great copycat In-N-Out burger can be devoured at Uburger right around the corner from Fenway.

you should toss a tea bag into the harbor just for GPs

also somewhere in that place there is a resturant that JFK used to go to and eat chowder. supposed to be good. (ive never been but this is what i hear)

if it were me, my main priority would be checking out the Revolutionary war sites.

Dorchester Heights as well as both Bunker and Breeds hills would be of interest to me.
