What to do with Misplaced Apostolics?

There are many Apostolic people who desire to be used in places of ministry within their local assembly but they are not utilized. Some trying to find a niche/a place, and they never gain acceptance or are asked to participate.

The Bible tells us to...Pray the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers into the harvest.

With this in mind...why can't we open doors of opportunity for others to have a part in church functioning? Why must it always be family or friends in our churches? What are we afraid of?

This is not about me so don't even go there. I have many friends who cry, complain, get discouraged, change churces, and then finally give up hope that they are worthy of being used because they have been rejected so much. I don't always know what to tell them.

Why is it that everyone always wants a ministry "within" the church? Why not go outside of the church and minister? There are neighborhoods that do not know the real gospel message. There are kids that can be picked up and brought to church. Families in the church that just need someone from the church to visit and love them. Letters that can be written to missionaries to encourage them. Etc, etc, etc.


Ministry opportunities are endless to one that desires to make a difference in someones life. Pick one and get started in your own ministry.

A nice handy catch all St. Matthew unless your area of gifting is elsewhere. Let's all just start our own churches...have all our family members play a part and ostracise anyone with an idea that is different...join with the rest of our Apostolic church governments.

Can you give an example of a gifting?

BTW I agree everyone should be allowed to minister. However not everyone can be a leader.

This is the first time I have ever heard of someone not having a "gifting" of simply being a Christian.

I again ask, why do you feel someone is entitled to a leadership position within the church if they are not a leader outside of the church.

You asked who I would pick to be a leader. This is my answer. I would find someone already doing ministry without the title. This would be evidence to me as to where their heart is. Some only want the title. Some are serious about the work of God, and don't need the title.

People would rather put up with than take this elephant out of our churches...and St. Matt, like so many others have the "mentality" that:
* only who I say can
* only when I say they can do it
* and only if they do everything I tell them to do will they then be allowed to do what they feel called and gifted to do.

That is why revival is happening all over the world but not in our home town.

Just admit it!
