I must confess I am out. I did not pay by budget fee. Things change. I for one think that the days of the usefulness of organization as we once knew them are over. The world has becomes small thus screening seems outdated.
Now we have mission programs independent of any organization to support missionaries. I have more conferences-campmeetings-anniversaries than I can afford to go to. So I have decided not to pay for fellowship.
The basis of fellowship with myself have always been:
1. doctrine
2. life
3. ethics
NEVER a card.
I wish them the best.

Recent events within a much larger Oneness denomination have proven that what you say is true. The day of fellowshipping around a card is pretty much over.

Doctrine, life, and ethics - Makes more sense than - Dues, daddy, and politics.

I don't blame you Elder .... these orgs have become nothing more than an added expense ... that require fees and offerings to be in "good standing"

the corporate-style organization has seen it's day ... people are now networking thru so many different ways ... that it's a dinosaur.
