Luciferic Initiation
Came across this article on the internt. If you read under "global initiation" it talks about a time when the holy place is desecrated, satan will become one with the antichrist and all people will have to be initiated into the luciferic initiation. your thoughts?

And what is the gospel according to David Spangler?

In evangelical circles, Lucifer is acquiring a new image. Modern bibles now designate Lucifer "the morning star," replacing his true identity as "son of the morning" in Isaiah 14:12. The NIV and NASB also dispense with "day star" in II Peter 1:19, encouraging readers to wait "…until the day dawn and the morning star arise in your hearts."
Jay Gary is a dynamic leader in ministries such as Campus Crusade for Christ, Billy Graham's Lausanne Committee for Worldwide Evangelization, GCOWE, March For Jesus, and YWAM. Addressing an Adopt-A-People Consultation in 1994, Gary recommended books of David Spangler-referring to this Luciferian as "one of the best." (10)

Preterists believe there will always be THE antichrist spirit -- since it is only a spirit if it is called a "the", but is manifest many people, not one -- until Jesus comes, but not a man called THE antichrist. Never in the past or future is any MAN called THE antichrist.
Now, if you are talking about the BEAST of Rev 13, we believe that already happened in the first century. But you probably feel the BEAST and the ANTICHRIST are the same thing, while we do not.

Wow...those are all preterist beliefs? Maybe I oughta do some studying.....

Do you believe the current push toward a United Religions Organization is part of the antichrist spirit? If you do then this article was talking about the men and women that are leading that movement and how they embrace New Age philosophy, even some that worship Lucifer.

Seriously, I believe most of what mfblume posted, but I don't label myself. I just study what's there and make my own decisions. I haven't studied what preterism involves, because that doesn't matter to me. What the Bible says matters to me.
My comment was mostly me thinking out loud that maybe I should look into what else falls under preterism....
