Wild Boar Hunt This Week! PICS!
I am getting ready to go on a guided wild boar hunt this week in southern Ohio with my oldest son, Josh. He bid on eBay and won a hunt and wanted me to go with him. He is going to use his compound bow and I am going to use his Bushmaster .223! We can take 2 boar per day. This is a 2 day hunt. I'm sure we'll have a great time. Only problem is I won't be able to run until I get back! I think I'm hooked!

Let one of those wild boars with 4 inch tusks get after you, you'll be able to run just fine!

If you get 2 a day and end up with 4, then you could have a mega-hog-roast for your whole church! Wouldn't that be fun!

Well, we didn't bring home the bacon! Didn't even see a wild boar. Saw "scads" of coons, a couple possum and a couple deer. Sat in the stand from 8pm til 3am one night and none of 'em came in to the baited site. We also walked all over the forest with our guides during the day. Walked the woods and hills for miles! Needless to say, we were bummed. However, it is never time wasted when I spend it with one of my sons! AAAAAAND....we may get to go back for free later in the year!

Actually, I have shed 30lbs since last October 1st. Changed my diet big time, and at the end of May, I took up running. Feeling great! Thanks for noticing! "I'm so vain........." LOL
