Do women struggle with lesbianism as much as gay men struggle with homosexuality? It is said that boys who are overly mothered can turn out to be gay. What kind of environment produces lesbians or are lesbians born that way? Are all lesbians masculine?

Or are you asking a statistical question, are there as many lesbians as there are gay men?

I meant gay men that struggle with homosexuality not all men. I see many ministries geared to gay men but not lesbianism.

It is an issue that is not discussed enough. This thread is obviously a spinoff from recent threads. Aff has barely touched the issue until don't ask don't tell was a recent media issue. we are not obsessed.

I know a few women who were lesbians before being saved.... they were all sexually abused by men growing up. So that's one contributing factor. I'm sure there are many more.

Sigmund Freud's daughter Anna went into psychoanalysis and was far too detached from a distant mother. As a lesbian, she found another "partner" that was a patient.
