(
Acts 1:8) "To The Ends of the Earth."
Dearest Friends:
Sweetest greetings to you all in the lovely Name of Jesus.
So much is happening here at this moment, I feel that you as mission partners should know about these events. We just ended our national convention and many people were filled with the Holy Ghost. We had a moving ministerial meeting to talk about the new areas we plan to reach in the near future with the ordinations of several families that will go out as national missionaries.
One of the ministries that we are participating in this month is helping each national preacher understand the setup of the local church. At the present I am over 1500 miles from my home in the northeast state of Alagoas helping in several of our churches in this region. I will be helping in a youth retreat and a minister’s seminar in this state. Next week I will be going further on north to help in the state of Ceara to visit a small but growing little church there and on to the jungle state of Maranhao. Brazil is such a large country with so much to do! We invite you to connect with your heart and soul to the people of our country that are ever reaching for God. Dailey we are seeing Him move in hearts and lives of our people here. There is much fruit from our teaching and outreach opportunities that God has given us over the years.
Mission is like a network. It is a network in part passed to us by those who have gone before. It is a network of relationships, a network of the Spirit in our midst and the spirit of each person making up the network. Those of you who offer your prayers, your attention to the work, and your financial support are as much a part of the network as any of those that actually have their hands on the plow here. We are all workers together. So go, some give, some pray so it takes us all to get the fields harvested.
Our passionate appeal will be that every church, every person will deepen their commitment to support mission co-workers so that one day our grandchildren will know how the prayers and commitments of those who have come before them have participated in making known the Spirit of Jesus Christ in Brazil. As I write this the world is suffering from the consequences of natural disasters, tornados, hurricanes and earthquakes, Poverty on every hand but a great door is open here in Brazil. We do not know how long we will have this wide open door for the gospel but we want to take advantage of every precious moment telling others the life changing gospel story.
Please be part of the generational network of missionaries and continuation of the
Acts 2 church. While money is important, it comes in a distant second to my need for your prayer support. Since prayer support is so important to the success of this missions we ask you to remember us daily. We live and work in the enemy's territory and become the special object of Satan's attack.
Because God’s Mission goes on:
I remain your servant in Christ
