Wonder where Grandma's "dumpling" is! Surely he is going to say
something. She always called Ladd, her "dumpling".

What can I say you've said it all. LOL

Yes! Nancy, Grandma Lizzie was very special. She told me about a vision she had about heaven, not long before she died. It was so precious I can't even talk about it. I know shes up there and I look forward to seeing her and all the others again.

Yes, Brother,

It will be glorious! A Glad Reunion Day! Sometimes I get to thinking about what it
will be like to all be together again and it seems almost too good to be true. It will
be heaven when "with all the holy angels and our loved ones to stay. That will be
a glad reunion day".

Love and blessings, Brother!

This is great Sis. Falla! What an awesome scene it is to see 5 generations of Apostolics serving the Lord! I hope and pray that I'll see mine as well!

...and I just might use that appendicitis testimony on my message this coming Sunday...

Re: Falla's Gma, First to Obey Apostolic Message

Thank you, Bro. Blueaugust,

You feel free to use that story to the glory of God.

In the 5th generation photo, Grandma Lizzie and her son, my late father, have
gone on to be with the Lord. Grandma passed on the next year after the pic was
taken. I had wanted to get another of the 5 generations, but my daughter and
her family had moved. Dad went Home in Oct. 1989, five yrs. to the month Grandma
passed on.
Our daughter holding her 2 wk old baby, turned 48 yrs. old this past week,
Philip will turn 25, Aug 1. He has been married just over 4 yrs. When his first child is
born (none in sight yet), it will be the beginning of another generation. This will
probably be our first GREAT-grandchild. Philip is a licensed apostolic minister.

One generation passes away and another appears. My husband of almost 49 yrs,
(July 11, 2008) are next in line to go beyond the horizon as far as our immediate
family is concerned.
May all who come behind us, find us faithful!

Blessings,

Falla39

I meant to say my husband and I, as far as the eldest in line, age wise.
are next in line to cross over. However we never know who God will take
next as He doesn't always go by our ages.

Re: Falla's Gma, First to Obey Apostolic Message

Just want everybody to know that my eldest daughter, aged 8, has received the Holy
Ghost on a recent Sunday School Kiddie Camp held in our District. I am a second generation apostolic and that makes her third. I guess now I do understand what Sis Falla must have felt for her family heritage. I can't explain the joy as a father when my kid got the Holy Ghost!

And yes... May all who come behind us find us faithful...

Bro. Blueaugust,

The longer you live and the more you serve Him, it just grows
sweeter and more blessed all the time. As we get older we realize
the value of those things which maybe didn't seem so important when
we were younger and immature. But when we see our children and
grandchildren coming along and we realize a lot depends on us to pass
along the heritage that was given to us. We realize what a responsibility
it is to make sure that those behind us know enough to be to arrive at
where we are looking forward to going.

I rejoice with you over your daughter receiving the Holy Ghost!

Blessings,

Falla39

The blessings of the children lie in the obedience of those who precede them.
Parents, grandparents, etc.

Re: Falla's Gma, First to Obey Apostolic Message

Yes, Grandma Lizzie has been gone almost 27yrs, and that little firstborn grandchild (son) of
ours just had his 28th birthday Aug. 1. He and his sweet wife of almost 8 yrs, are now
the firsttime parents of our first Great-grandchild (daughter).

When I think of "what if" God had not raised up Grandma Lizzie, five generations of our
family might not be on earth today to tell the marvelous things GOD HAS DONE!
"What IF Abraham had not believed God..and it was accounted unto him for righteous-
ness! There would have been no Isaac or Jacob, no children of Israel (Jacob).

Without faith, there would have been no Hebrews 11.

WITHOUT FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God. For he that cometh to GOD,
must believe that HE IS, and that HE IS a REWARDER of them that diligently seek HIM.
No lie is of the TRUTH. TRUTH sets mankind free from the law of sin and death. He whom
the Son sets free is free indeed!

Just some thoughts!
