Is April 25 a Gay Day of Silence at your school?

I read an email that is bona fide in such issues, and warned Christians that April 25 was to be a Day of Silence in public schools when the teachers will speak about the acceptance of homosexual lifestyles.

I plan on checking with my daughters' school and if the school participates, my girls are staying home that day!

It may be on different days in various places, but it is somewhere around April 25.

thre is a website (I dont have it and am not going to find it) that lists all the schools accross the nation that are joining in on this.

Thank God my area schools were not listed when I checked.

The day is held to preach against bullying and name-calling of gay children. Of course name-calling is not the way to combat sinful lifestyles. But the reasoning is by using acceptance and tolerance of homosexuality they seek to stop the harrassment.

It's promoting the gay agenda.

local schools where i live are not, some close by are, but if i had school age kids, they would not be there, uh uh, lol,dt

last year my daughter Elaine went to school and caused the biggest racket she could all day long... talked... sang, yelled... did whatever she could, to protest. I am not sure our school participated in it, but it was known around school that you were to be silent in support of gays.

I went to check... our schools are not participating.. thank God...

The three schools listed that are in the city of Indianapolis are not the greatest schools. well... I wouldn't put my kids in those schools.

However, it did surprise me that a few small communities like Zionsville schools were involved in Indiana. That is a small elite community North of Indianapolis... just surprised me really.

Not at our school.



We homeschool.....no propaganda or special interest groups getting in our front door.

My child's school is involved and NO he will not be going to school that day.
