IT'S SNOWING in MEMPHIS!!!!!
Sorry - - it's our first snow and it's so pretty!
Since we rarely get snow excuse the excitement!!!
Gotta go watch it fall!

Oh goodness! It's wonderful to hear someone excited about snow. Most everyone around here complains. Ha! 
I love snow - even after month 3 months of it. It's beautiful! Seeing snow falling always makes me feel 'happy'. Until about mid-March. Then I'm ready for something different.

Only problem is -- in some of your areas, Memphis for example, it creates havoc because the cities aren't equipped to deal with it.
I experienced some of that when we lived in the Vancouver area. Much as I love snow, there, I got to not enjoying it knowing the chaos that usually developed as a result.

It's usually a real pain because there is no equipment. However, since it was 70 yesterday the streets are too icy - just slushy. It's going to be really cold tonight so in the morning will be terrible.
We are going out to eat in a bit before it gets too bad.

I can understand what you're saying. Hopefully, it won't be too bad a mess with ice and all in the A.M.

Well, I wish it was a hot date. Oh well......
I can tell you this. The fact that your son and wife take their mom/mom-in-law out to dinner with them speaks highly of them. And of their mother!

We got 6" in the last 12 hrs. I went out, got stuck at the first job then canceled the rest.
