We had 20 first time visitors at our egg hunt this afternoon!!! We had more visiors than we had our own people. I am soooooooo excited!!!!
We also have a couple that we have been working with for about a year that is planning on being there in the morning. Their little boy comes with us from time to time. He loves it, and his dad came out and asked what time church started in the morning as I dropped his son and mine off at their house this evening. I told him 10:00 and he said they would see us in the morning and they would bring John Robert. YEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!
Also, there is a man that my husband has been "working" with. He works on our horses. John has talked to him quite a bit lately, but not nothing really about church or God, just befriending him. He's gone through a divorce this last year and it's been kinda tough for him. We had him over for supper Friday night and tonight he called and wanted John to bring over our oldest boy so he could ride a colt that had never been ridden and as they were leaving John said, "Hey, Olin, if you don't have anything better to do tomorrow, why don't you come on out to church with us. We're having dinner after church and everything, we'd really like to have you." Olin said, "Well, I was just getting ready to ask for directions, already planned on being there, just didn't know how to get there."
I am so excited, I can hardly stand myself. That's why I am up this late seeing that I have to be up by 7:00 to finish (actually, start) my dressing and two cakes. I already have 5 hams on to cook in the roasters, so at least that's started.
So pray that we have a MIGHTY MOVE OF GOD in the morning.
I was pleased to have received a text message from my pastor's wife stating she hoped to see me in the morning, as I haven't been there in almost a month. I told her I'd be there and she said she was looking forward to seeing me. Made my day.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Just a question but dont you think Easter Eggs are a little charismatic?
Also What good is it to get them to come to an Easter Egg Hunt? Do you think they will ever join the congregation?

Bridging the gap between not going to church and going to church? An event that's a good first step to getting people to attend your church. I think it's great.
