A serious TV question
In our small town we have a local TV station that just shows different activities in the community, like when we havs a festival it show people walking around and such. They also will show local church services. Why would it be wrong for the local UPC preacher to preach a sermon on our local channel? He would not get money from it, it is free to do so and there is no make up involved.

There would be nothing wrong with it and it would do more for the community than people realize, as long as he is preaching the truth.

Because some guys got together in a back room 50 years ago and decided that tv bad!!! Those guys may be stalwarts of faith, but one has to wonder about their vision. 20-25 years later Paul Crouch began something we should have been doing all along.

Amen on that!!! Why let the devil use tv when Apostolics can take them back by preaching the truth on tv.

The upci chokes vision out of its preachers. For every visionary such as Mangun, Tenney, and Haney there are dozens who try to kill the vision. There are many others in the organization with vision, but they have been beaten down by the vision killers. Unfortunately the organization has too many vision killers to become a potent force for the Kingdom.
